Briefly

I'm a physicist by training, currently work as a software engineer at Network General Corp. I have worked at Mt Sinai School of Medicine, Rockefeller University, and Institute of Atmospheric Physics (Moscow), graduated from Moscow Inst. of Physics and Technology (Fiztekh). Fluid dynamics, especially geophysical, was my primary field of interest. Here are links to my (outdated) resumé, Curriculum Vitæ and list of papers.

Here is some real art by my wife Maria Kazanskaya and links to other places. Among other things. she designed this emblem for TEHETA
TEHETA (pronounced: ti-NYO-tah) means "spiderweb" and "hunting net" in Russian. It is search and a contest for the best Russian literature on line.
POMAH and its USA mirror: the first Russian literary hypertext. Not your ordinary "tree fiction", but a full-scale co-operative exploration of hypertext as a new literary form.

Two Russian-English and English-Russian dictionaries, are at Elvis and in Serpukhov. Not quite huge vocabularies, but useful and different: try both (your terminal should support cyrillic for that).
My cyrillic mode for Emacs-19 allows you to write in koi-8 without (or with) cyrillic keyboard and read koi-8 without (or with) cyrillic fonts. Installation is a snap, usage is fun. Works even on dumb terminals.
Try the most fascinating place on the Web I've seen yet.
